Suez Environnement (France), Via its Subsidiary Safege, Wins A 5-Year Contract Worth €17 Million for the Ile De France Regional Water Authority (Syndicat Des Eaux D’ile De France – Sedif).

SAFEGE is strengthening its position as a leader in the field of water engineering and infrastructure by winning a contract worth €17 million over 5 years to project manage the SEDIF’s drinking water supply structures. SAFEGE has been approved as the successful tenderer for framework agreements to project manage drinking water production plants and recovery, storage and transfer facilities managed by SEDIF.

Furthermore, SAFEGE will provide project management for long-term programmes to renew distribution pipelines between 2015 and 2017 in the Oise and Marne areas (representing 102 municipalities and €60 million worth of work). SAFEGE has been working with SEDIF on an ongoing basis for nearly ten years. Its

engineers and experts are involved in a number of projects within the authority’s water production and distribution network, such as redesigning the control room at Neuilly-sur-Marne and modernising the Pantin plant.

With this major new contract, SAFEGE is able to strengthen the relationship of trust it has developed with SEDIF, to safeguard both the water supply and the quality of life for those living in Ile-de-France.
