Frost and Sullivan have organised a complimentary online conference that will discuss water quality and scarcity challenges, as well as the economic advantages offered by modern treatment solutions.

The global food and beverage industry will experience significant strains over the coming years unless they find effective ways of harnessing water supplies. This conference has been organised to highlight trends that are impacting food and beverage water, as well as the solutions on offer to help food and beverage companies mitigate water risks and turn it into economical and competitive advantage.

Frost and Sullivan believe there will be an increased focus worldwide to reduce water footprint, which will drive sales of the water and wastewater treatment market to around USD$5 billion by 2020.

Expert Paulina Szyplinska, water and wastewater research analyst said: "Given the significant volume of water required for food and beverage production, combined with growing population and increasing water stress, there is a vast need to implement sustainable water management practices."
