Desalinated Water in Cooling Water Treatment

Jul 24 2009

Diaphragm filtration ensures an efficient and at the same time environmentally friendly water treatment which manages almost without any chemicals. Depending on the individual tasks, ProMaqua (Germany) offers the optimal solution for the removal of particles and salts ensuring lowest operating costs.

The reverse osmosis systems Dulcosmose ecoPro are suited for the desalination of water for industrial applications. These series with their high degree of standardisation excel through their optimal price/performance ratio. Equipped with “ultra low pressure” diaphragms, the systems guarantee a low operating pressure and low-cost PVC piping. At the same time, they achieve a salt retention rate of up to 95 % and thus maximum permeate output. They thus reduce the investment and operating costs to a minimum.

The microprocessor control makes the operation of the systems simple and reliable. The users are offered numerous programming options and a clear text indication provides information on the current operation status. The reverse osmosis systems are equipped with a temperature-compensated conductivity measurement. Depending on their size and type, they are mounted either on a low-priced and corrosion-free polypropylene frame or a high-quality, twice powder-coated steel frame.

An integrated cleaning and flushing concept is available as option. This increases the service life of the diaphragms considerably.
