Preseco Signed a 5 Million Euros Delivery Agreement To Estonia

Finnish environmental solutions company, Preseco Oy, has signed an agreement for a turn-key –delivery to Estonia. The agreement includes the renovation of an old Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) and the building of a new industrial size Biogas plant.

The Biogas plant is integrated to the WWTP. The Plant will be built to the municipality of Kuressaare, on Saaremaa island in Estonia. The Biogas plant is designed to process the sludge from the WWTP into biogas. The biogas is converted into steam and electricity.

The customer is Kuressaare veevärk, municipal waterworks. The project has Estonian government funding.

The new WWTP and Biogas plant will be operational by the end of October 2010. The value of the agreement for Preseco is approximately 5 million Euros.
