Due to legal limits disposal of highly contaminated industrial waste water into public sewer systems is mostly forbidden, thus expensive destruction with specialised destruction companies is required. Destruction cost for waste water occurring in production facilities can be reduced by more than 95% if processed in house. Depending on amount of waste water savings of up to

€ 1,500,000.00 within ten years are possible.

Vacuum distillation systems are well proven as most feasible method for the treatment of spent cooling lubricant emulsions, die casting emulsions, landfill leachate and rinsing water from surface finishing processes as well as from degreasing and galvanic plating processes. The distillate can be reused in the work shop, creating a zero liquid discharge production.

The European market leader for energy saving vacuum distillation systems, H2O (Germany) informs about feasible process water treatment systems and other smart ideas for clean water on the

IFAT in Munich from September 13th to 17th 2010 (hall A2, booth 123).
