Ehovoc (Finland) has finished the project to manufacture, install and commission a Regenerative Catalytic Oxidation system (RCO) to reduce VOC emissions by 98 % in a flexography company Westpak Ltd. in Finland.

The installation was already the sixth of similar installations in many flexography printing companies in Finland. The latest installation was the biggest with airflow of 22.000Nm3/h. The system is very flexible and will adapt to different VOC concentrations and airflows, which are varying according to production rate. Also the energy and maintenance costs are very low due ~500 oC lower reaction temperature compared to traditional thermal oxidation.   With the standard RCO from Ehovoc, the required emission limit in printing industry is achieved easily due very high conversion efficiency.
