Verder (Belgium) have launched their new series VA80 double diaphragm pumps to their Verderair family of diaphragm pumps.

The VA80 pumps are equipped with quick-acting air valve design which can be made available in 3 different materials such as SS316, Aluminium and Polypropylene. There are a further nine materials for ball valves, seats and diaphragms.

The complete air valve found in Verderair pumps consist of only 13 parts, including the housing.

The air valve is also serviceable externally meaning services can be actioned in only 5 minutes. They require no lubrication or oilers and the new VA80 can also be repaired offline.

Features of the new pump series are: Smooth and rapid change over (quick-acting air valve), More efficient operation (Higher flow rate but yet less air consumption), Less maintenance; less downtime (cost savings), Leak-free operation (save and reliable) and Increased material strength

The rigid 4-bolted construction ensures equal sealing pressure for the total sealing surface and offers therefore absolute leak-proof pumping. The Polypropylene Verderair VA model is provided with an overmolded fluid section frame to have a better relaxation on the joints and to enhance the strength of the fluid section. Verderair VA 80 pumps are reliable pumps with an excellent corrosive and abrasive resistance.
