Tsurumi to exhibit at Aquatech 2011

Sep 29 2011

Tsurumi, one of the world’s leading submersible pump manufacturers, will participate at the Aquatech exhibition for the first time. The company will showcase its cost-effective and hassle-free wastewater solutions through live demonstrations and full scale exhibits at the international water industry event in the Netherlands.

Global pump manufacturer Tsurumi has operated in the international wastewater and water processing industry for over 90 years. The company has a reputation for powerful, reliable and easy to maintain pumps, which it will be showcasing to visitors at Aquatech 2011.

“Tsurumi is expanding,” explains Takanori Yoshida, assistant marketing manager at Tsurumi Europe. “Our product range is designed to meet almost any need and our market coverage in Europe continues to expand. The wastewater and water processing industry is a major focus and we look forward to showing our innovative and high quality products at the show for the first time.”

The company will exhibit a wide selection of pumps from its 250 strong product range. These will include aerators, sewage and contractor pumps, and residual dewatering pumps. Full scale and cross-section models of the products will be displayed alongside live demonstrations, which will include:

• An operational basin showing the company’s TRN aerators, one of its most successful product lines.

• The company’s renowned “Puddle Suckers” which will be displayed inside an oil drum. These residual dewatering pumps are capable of reducing large expanses of water down to just 1mm.

• A display of Tsurumi’s patented oil lifter, a device positioned within the oil bath of almost every pump that significantly reduces day-to-day wear on the double-mechanical seal, increasing the pump’s efficiency and reliability.

Tsurumi will use Aquatech 2011 to highlight its innovative pumping equipment that is powerful, reliable and easy to maintain. The company will also update visitors on its latest applications, which range from the smallest to the largest projects.

Two recent projects include delivering a complete wastewater solution to an army base in Bulgaria and installing an aeration system at a campsite in Croatia. The army base uses aerators, cutter pumps, agitators, decanters and impeller pumps – 47 in total – to transport and treat wastewater for more than 2,500 troops. The campsite, meanwhile, uses TRN aerators as a self-contained and cost-effective wastewater treatment system on a remote island. More information on both projects is available here: army base and campsite.

Distributor network
Tsurumi operates a pan-European network of 35 distributors providing products, installation and maintenance services wherever they are needed. A team from the company’s Dutch distributor, Distrimex, will join Tsurumi on its stand at Aquatech 2011.

Spare parts

Tsurumi’s pumps are built to last. They are designed for easy maintenance and quick repair. Their simple yet robust construction means they can be dismantled using basic tools (a screwdriver or spanner) and technicians need only basic training to handle maintenance. If spare parts are required, the company has a large stock in Germany, which can be dispatched rapidly.

Tsurumi will be located in Hall 1, Stand 510AA at Aquatech 2011.
