Team Sponsored from the Tottenham Court Road Station Upgrade Project

Siltbuster Ltd (UK) has sponsored a team from the Tottenham Court Road Station Upgrade (TCRSU) Project which took part in the London to Brighton cycle ride.

The Tottenham Court Road ‘TCR ROLLERS’ were raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Ian Gordon, a colleague and good friend who passed away earlier this year.  

Siltbuster was only too happy to sponsor the team of sixteen, as it has a long history with the project; since 2010 Siltbuster equipment has been used to deal with the concrete washwater resulting from the expansion and modernisation of the tube station.

The TCR Rollers took between 2 ½ to 9 hours (for the more leisurely) to complete the famous 54 mile route, raising over £3,500.

The tight fitting Lycra also helped them travel at the speed of light! Now every time a team member dons their jersey they have a great reminder of the day as well as Ian (that is providing they ever want to get back on a bike!).
