Comprehensive and interrelated communication between the field units
and a central control station is indispensable in the modern process
industry. Field bus systems are networks that allow machines and devices
to digitally communicate with each other within a production chain.
In the future, the C model series of pumps from Sera (Germany) will be equipped with the PROFIBUS. Because of its modular structure, this field system is the only one that can be employed in all areas of automation engineering without limitations.
The diaphragm pump series C204.1, C409.2 and C410.2 cover nominal
flow ranges between max. 0,8 l/h to max. 1450 l/h under pressures of up
to 10 bar.
The current delivery rate of the dosing pump is not only indicated on the display but, with the flow meter connected, is also reported digitally via the bus.
Warning and fault messages are issued individually. A plant shutdown can thereby be prevented to even a greater extent.
The multifunctionality of the dosing pump series is available to the full extent even with PROFIBUS connection.
