QM Environmental Services and Bioscience are introducing a brand new, revolutionary product for trap, pump station and sewer maintenance. The MICROCAT–BioPOPS are rugged, semi-submersible cylinders that slowly dissolve and release microbes and enzymes that can reduce odour and improve Fat, Oil and Grease (FOG) degradation.

The MICROCAT-BioPOP`s are fabricated of a slowly dissolving matrix inside a durable, porous netting. They are designed to be dropped into a water containing tank (grease trap, lift station, etc) by a line or rope. BioPop`s contain environmentally–safe, naturally-occurring microbes and their enzyme secretions.

The microbes are specially selected for their ability to break down (not just dissolve) the organic contaminants common in food preparation wastewaters and domestic water discharges generally.
