I. Kruger (USA), a Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies company, was awarded a contract for the Jonesville Water Treatment Plant Improvement project. As part of the project, Kruger will furnish a 2 x 0.5 MGD (ACP-450) prefabricated package plant ACTIFLO system.

The ACTIFLO system will be utilised for drinking water treatment specifically with regards to removing Total Organic Compounds (TOC) as well as Total Suspended Solids (TSS) with clarifier effluent that meets the US EPA limits for TOC removal for enhanced coagulation. The new process is expected to be operational by Winter of 2012.
