When a large beverage manufacturer more than doubled its wastewater load during a production campaign, it found itself minus an effective aeration system due to a burst diffuser pipe.

With an aeration requirement greater than the supply, their problems multiplied exponentially.

Corgin (UK) were contacted and quickly got to the root of the problem.

Corgin offered their Vertical Shaft Surface Aerator and within days, the offer was accepted and the aerator installed. The floating aerator was delivered on a flatbed, assembled on site and lifted in the tank with a crane. The 37kW aerator provided an additional ~85kg O₂/hour, thanks to its high efficiency aeration rotor which provides 2.3kg O₂/kWhour.
