Business opportunity - Coal-fired power plant imports wet electrostatic precipitator system

Zheneng Liuheng Coal-fired Power Plant (浙能六横火电厂), which is owned by Zhejiang-based Zheneng China Coal Zhoushan Coal-fired Power Co. (China) (浙能中煤舟山火电有限公司), has imported a wet electrostatic precipitator (ESP) system to treat sulfur emission, according to reports, but the name of the foreign supplier has not been disclosed.

The total cost of the power plant is expected to be  USD 1.3bn (CNY 8bn), but USD 327m (CNY 2bn) is earmarked for environmental protection systems, such as noise prevention systems, denitration and desulphurisation, desalination, wastewater treatment, solid waste management and dust removal .
