New Scientist as Part of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership

Dr Wan Li Low has recently joined Odour Services International Limited (OSIL, UK) as a Process Development Scientist. Dr Wan Li Low is part of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between Wolverhampton University and OSIL. The KTP has been formed to help OSIL develop future odour control and gas flow solutions using modern innovative technology. This is part of OSIL’s drive to continue to develop low cost and more effective solutions on the back of the highly successful LavaRok system.

Malaysian born Dr Wan Li Low graduated with a first class honours degree in BSc. (Hons) Biotechnology from Wolverhampton University in 2007.

After graduation came a period of PhD research into Microbiology in the study area of “Liposome encapsulated antimicrobial metal ions and essential oils”. Which led to the work being presented at international conferences.

Dr Wan Li Low is looking forward to starting her career with Odour Services International Limited as a “Process Development Scientist”, and endeavour to contribute effectively to the research strategies within the company.
