Linde announce that it has started up a new air separation unit to supply 700 tons-per-day of gaseous nitrogen to support Samsung in Tangjeong, South Korea. This is the company's fourth air separation plant at the facility.

Linde's nitrogen is used to cool and purge applications in Samsung's manufacturing process.

"Linde has worked successfully with Samsung for over 40 years and we are fully committed to supporting its expanded production capacities with a broad array of gases and applications technologies along with seamless customer support," said B.S. Sung, President of Linde Korea. "We believe our proven track record of stable and reliable supply capabilities of on-site and process gases will further strengthen the relationship and enable future growth together."

Linde has been supplying Samsung's display operations in Tangjeong with nitrogen, oxygen, argon, helium and other gases since 2005.
