Severn Trent Services Adds Staff in Abu Dhabi, Reflecting Business Growth Strategy in Middle East

Severn Trent Services (UK) has announced an addition to its global business development staff in its Abu Dhabi office, reflecting new growth opportunities for its Middle East business. Azhar Farooqui has been named Middle East senior sales executive for disinfection products, which comprises a range of proven disinfection technologies including gas feed systems, chlorine dioxide systems, ultraviolet disinfection systems and on-site sodium hypochlorite generation systems.

In his new role, Farooqui is responsible for the development of business opportunities and increasing market share for Severn Trent Services’ innovative technologies. He will develop relationships with municipal government agencies, consulting engineers, engineering firms, EPC contractors and commercial / industrial enterprises. In addition he is responsible for recommending and developing new alternate sales channels for the company’s products in the region.
