International Rugby Star Launches New Premises

Due to growing sales and continuing success, Performance Pump & Equipment (PP&E), independent pump hire and sales specialists, has invested a six figure sum in a recent move to new larger premises in Wigan, UK.

The new facility, which was officially opened by Wigan and England international rugby league star Sean O’Loughlin, provides increased space for the company’s growing team, as well as for its extensive range of products. The range now includes an increased variety of pumps from 2” to 12”discharge, in both diesel and electric versions, along with specialist wellpoint dewatering pumps. PP&E also offers a full installation, advice and support service.

From its headquarters in Wigan - close to the M62 and the M6 - and depots located across the UK, PP&E provides a nationwide service to companies across a wide range of sectors, including construction, civil engineering, water utilities, mining, quarrying, waste and landfill, industrial and petro-chemical.

Commenting on the move, PP&E managing director Dave Berry said: “The move represents a significant new phase in our growth, as the demand for our products and industry expertise continues to rise. The new facility gives us more room in which to operate, meet customers and accommodate staff, as well as develop our business. It also means that we are able to carry an increased variety of products.”

In line with PP&E’s strategy to grow the business and further support its clients in providing the best possible service across the UK, the company has also announced new partnership agreements with a number of suppliers, for products which include Inflatable pipe stoppers, pipe road ramps and pipe pedestrian ramps.
