New Landia pumps provide long-term solutions for the water industry
Jun 21 2024
Landia has secured several new contracts in the municipal wastewater sector, including the supply of 16 axial pumps to a wastewater treatment plant in Ireland. These pumps, constructed from acid-proof stainless steel to withstand the corrosive coastal environment, were selected for their effectiveness in high-volume, low-pressure applications.
Additionally, Landia has been commissioned by Scottish Water to deliver four new pumps to one of their main biogas production facilities. These pumps are integral to a highly successful digester mixing system, which features no moving parts inside the tank, thereby simplifying maintenance and eliminating the need for costly tank emptying.
Moreover, in the north of England, Landia has received an order for its renowned chopper pumps for a sewage treatment facility that faced frequent blockages with its previous pumps from another manufacturer.
Paul Davies, Landia’s Key Account Manager, remarked: "For performance and, importantly, total cost of ownership, we are pleased to see more water companies and contractors recognising the numerous benefits of our pumps and mixers. They excel in challenging applications where solids can cause significant issues for less robust equipment."
