Ham Baker Adams has won several new orders to improve the operational performance of distributor siphons, replacing cast iron units with reduced weight, yet stronger, non-corrosive plastic siphons.

By lowering weights for manual handling to make routine maintenance much easier and safer on site, this innovative replacement by Ham Baker Adams also improves operation of the rotary distributor, with all new siphons optimised to suit site conditions.

Working together with water companies and contractors to bring about the best results, Ham Baker Adams has also introduced ball valves, which significantly improve cleaning of the break pipe.

Likewise, union joints on the air pipework reduce weight and are easily removable for superior cleaning or replacement. In addition, adjustable studs allow height adjustment to optimise the performance of the siphon dome.
