The Green Rhino (UK) sediment filtration system, recently nominated for a national Innovations Award, has protected one of the nation’s major utilities from risk of prosecution by the Environment Agency.

Now selling in thousands Green Rhino offers a simple and highly cost-effective solution for removing hazardous sediment - and does it repeatedly.

Affinity Water is the first utility to manage water from bursts using a special filter process combined with a flood sack to raise standards for road and street works. This new technique minimises Affinity Water from cautioning and prosecution by the Environment Agency.

Each highly distinctive Green Rhino system is many times re-useable unlike its competitors. There is a system available both oil and sediment, is compatible with existing site pump media, has a fitted oil indication system and is lightweight and compact.

Says Howard Lewis, the Network Operations Manager of Affinity Water: “Green Rhino swiftly, easily and cheaply resolved our need for a sustainable solution to filter our water bursts cleanly and we shall be using it whenever similar problems occur. Together we created a solution which justified the nomination for the NJUG Innovation Awards.”
