The new decanter generation ecoforce from GEA Westfalia Separator Group unites ecological demands and  economical advantages; it combines economy and flexibility; it provides for maximum efficiency in operation and makes for a very short pay-back time. The prime achievement is a significant reduction in energy consumption. With a specific energy consumption of just 0.7 kWh per cubic metre, GEA Westfalia Separator Group is the absolute leader in the market. The flocculent requirement likewise drops significantly which is equivalent to 25 percent in terms of operating costs for polymer consumption.

Lower operating and investment costs

The Westfalia Separator® ecoforce similarly lowers the investment costs because the operators now achieve throughputs with small decanters which were previously only possible with larger-scale models. Moreover, GEA Westfalia Separator Group has succeeded to further minimize the space and maintenance requirement for the installation due to a special design.

The sum of all drives

GEA Westfalia Separator Group has not least managed to largely standardize the entire series by means of standardization and modularization. This applies both for the design, the functional principle, the connections, the operating mode as well as the drive concept. All models of the Westfalia Separator® ecoforce series will in future feature the unique Westfalia Separator® summationdrive, a drive concept developed by GEA Westfalia Separator Group. This high-torque drive reliably provides the optimum differential speed for the process. Only the power is supplied which is actually required. Unnecessary conversion losses, which for instance in other backdrive solutions have been eliminated in the Westfalia Separator® summationdrive. Instead, the differential speed is made available smoothly in a wide range in an energy-efficient manner. Overall, with its various models, the new Westfalia Separator® ecoforce decanter generation covers ranges from 1 to 200 cubic metres per hour.
