Clean water is a basic requirement of life and therefore our most precious resource.

WEFTEC®, the Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference, will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from October 10-14, 2009 and is recognized as the largest annual water quality exhibition in the world.

Flottweg will of course be present at WEFTEC with something new to share:

For the first time, Flottweg will present the new centrifuge C5E (Booth 4303). This centrifuge is a modern high performance decanter for capacities up to 60 m3/h. It is designed to meet individual requirements when dewatering municipal waste water sludge. Excellent separation efficiency, good price/performance ratio, and compact design provide better performance in purification plants than ever before. All product-wetted parts are made of high grade stainless steel, the housing is sound insulated – traditional Flottweg quality with the most modern decanter technology.

Moreover the new C3E excels in energy efficiency. The bowl is driven by an electric motor with a frequency inverter, the scroll by the proven Flottweg Simp-Drive®.

In order to dispose of waste water sludge according to regulatory requirements, optimum dewatering is necessary before beneficial reuse, incineration, or landfill. In these areas, the new Flottweg centrifuge C5E does an excellent job. Clean water is not an infinite resource. In order to provide clean water into the future, responsible treatment of our environment is more important than ever.
