Borger introduces heavy-duty dredging pump for demanding applications

02 Jul, 2025

Borger has launched a heavy-duty Dredging Pump designed specifically for municipal services, civil engineering projects, and contractors. This powerful new pump is engineered to handle wastewater containing sediments and sludge, making it ideal for applications like draining and dewatering excavation pits.

A standout feature of the Borger Dredging Pump is its Maintenance-in-Place design, which includes quick-release covers for easy access to the pump's internal components and wear parts. The pump is also versatile enough to be deployed in emergency situations, such as flood control in hard-to-reach areas. For added flexibility, an optional agitator nozzle can be added to help break up and mix floating layers of debris.

Garden designers and landscapers will also find this pump highly adaptable, as it can be easily attached to a variety of equipment. The Dredging Pump can be securely fastened to the arm of an excavator or attached using a quick-coupling system to the boom of a concrete pump, a front loader, or the suction arm of a slurry tanker.

Built to endure the tough demands of dredging, this pump is designed to handle abrasive materials and withstand harsh environments. Its self-priming capabilities make it especially effective in situations where the pump may be submerged or exposed to air intermittently.
