Biwater Secures a Further Contract in Nigeria

Biwater Nigeria Ltd has signed a contract with the Ministry of Water Resources, Kwara State, for the Procurement and Installation of low and high lift pumps at Asa Dam Waterworks in Ilorin.
This project, valued at Naira 2.2. billion (£9.5m), is to be completed within 18 months and is a follow on to the two successful projects already delivered by Biwater in Ilorin – The Ilorin Township Water Supply Scheme and the Ilorin Rehabilitation Scheme.
Biwater is an integral member of the team that is upgrading the supply of drinking water to the expanding population of Ilorin and this contract is further endorsement of the excellent performance that Biwater has demonstrated in Nigeria.
