Submersible motor mixers from Bauer (Austria) are designed for high efficiency and engineered using high quality durable materials. The internal design elements, motors and propeller shaft are on the same axis level, and guarantee an efficient homogenization of the substrate. In the planetary gearbox, several hardened and polished interlocking gears operate simultaneously, friction is reduced and there’s less power consumption. The large diameter twin-blade stainless steel thrust propeller has a special thrust pitch which results in higher efficiency.

Due to a cleverly devised oil-feed system, thorough lubrication of the gears is guarantees at operating angles of +/-30°.

Based on these characteristics, Bauer offers with MSXH several models especially modified for use in biogas plants. For additional safety, the biogas model submersible motor mixers are equipped with level probes that guarantee an immediate safety shut off when the equipment is installed. It’s also important that the walls and roof are gas tight. The mounting kits are height adjustable and the operation of the mixer is external. Enhanced and safe mixing of slurry in the biogas plant is guaranteed.
