As part of AUMA’s (UK) 50th anniversary year, the established supplier of electric actuators presents its comprehensive range of multi-turn, part-turn, linear and lever actuators plus gearboxes at IFAT.

Supporting a theme of accessibility, the company will promote a range of options for manual actuator operation. Addressing the fact that devices may be mounted in locations where a standard handwheel is not suitable; alternatives from AUMA include a handwheel extension, a chain wheel with remote switch-over and a variety of adaptors for power tool emergency operation.

Show news includes the launch of an electronic remote position transmitter (EWG), which replaces the predecessor AUMA RWG. The new AUMA Support App will also be on display which enables easy on-site access to all relevant documentation: a data matrix code on the actuator is scanned to download actuator specific documentation to an iPhone, iPod or iPad.

Producing over 180,000 actuators per annum, AUMA applications include water / sewage treatment plants, potable water distribution and seawater desalination. Significant R&D investment ensures that the company stays at the leading edge of actuation technology: pioneering developments include an advanced corrosion protection solution.
