Euro 1.2 million order for compressors for treatment plant in Switzerland

ABS (Sweden) will be supplying compressors for one of the biggest treatment plants in Switzerland as of September 2009. The order is worth EUR 1.2 million.

As the population increases and the burden on wastewater systems grows, renovation and upgrades are needed. In order to improve the efficiency of the biological treatment process at the treatment plant, a number of ABS turbocompressors HST will be installed. The compressors supply air in the tanks for biological treatment, creating optimal conditions for a more environmentally friendly biological treatment of the wastewater while keeping costs down.
