Fastest Growing Waste Management Business

Specialist Waste Recycling Ltd (SWR) has been awarded the fastest growing waste management business by the CIWM Journal. This has been awarded the second year running to SWR.

Overall SWR were positioned third in the list that included energy and niche recycling businesses. This left SWR ranking top of the waste management business category. With a two year average compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 70%. SWR is one of only 11 companies to feature in the list two years running.

SWR CEO, Giles Whiteley, said: “Everyone at SWR is delighted that we are in the top three again this year. A year at SWR is like three or four with other companies such is the enthusiasm and pace with which we go about our business. Our success is down to understanding our markets better than our competition and building services that meet their needs. This means that not only do we win new business, we keep existing customers year after year. Growth is much easier when you don’t have customers leaving you.”
