Specflue (UK) have recently launched a new renewable energy product range called Green Square. This new range has been designed to help compliment Specflue's current respected ISO accredited flue and chimney business.

The Green Square portfolio offers renewable energy products such as pellet stoves, biomass boilers, solar thermal, heat pumps and their Xcel Heat Bank (thermal store) technology. Specflue have also recently opened their renewables training centre, together with the Green Square portfolio means they can offer a wide range of opportunities in the green energy market and extend and explore knowledge of the latest technologies. The main focus of Green Square is to provide trade professionals with the ability to design, specify and supply the latest renewable products and support services.

Richard Hiblen, Specflue’s National Sales Manager, explains Specflue’s reason for diversifying: “The Government and consumers alike have started to recognise the problems associated with a rapidly changing world and people’s continuous reliance on gas and oil. Consumers are starting to look towards renewable sources of energy, which offer both a carbon reduction and increased energy security. Our comprehensive Green Square product range is recommended by retailers throughout the country. As a company, Specflue have the technical expertise and product knowledge to advise consumers and installers on the renewable energy market and associated products”.

Alongside the Green Square portfolio and to help Specflue push forward and lead the way to help produce the next generation of fuel and green energy, Specflue have built a modern, purpose built renewables training facility at their head office in Sudbury. Here they will offer a range of courses on renewables, many of which are BPEC accredited and this is backed by a national network of 40 local renewable centres .

Jed Smith, Specflue’s Training Manager, highlights: “Through our expansive renewables course portfolio, both installers and retailers find our renewables training centre a valuable resource for updating their product knowledge and achieving relevant qualifications. Specflue, via our new Green Square product range, offers a truly one stop service for renewable products, advice and training and all of which underwrite our industry leadership for environmental initiatives”
