Scottish Green Energy Consultancy to Double in Size as Expansion Plans Revealed

Scottish renewable energy consultancy, SgurrEnergy (UK), have recently announced plans to double their workforce as part of a three-year expansion plan.

SgurrEnergy have worked on over 65,000MW of green energy projects across 40 different countries. They are doubling the size of their head office to 14,500 square feet. The expansion is expected to be completed by September allowing the business to increase staff numbers and increase turnover.

SgurrEnery have already begun on a recruitment drive in order to bring on board several key staff members, from renewable energy consultants and engineers to technicians and business support staff. The stream of recruitment will continue over the next three years to accommodate the growing needs of the business and client demand, taking planned headquarters-based staff numbers to around 180.

These expansion plans are not only limited to the headquarters in Scotland. Plans are afoot to open a two more international offices in order to service key regions in 2013, further spreading SgurrEnergy’s reach and expertise.
