The event is the only one specialized exhibition on Waste Management and Recycling in Bulgaria and will be held from 29 until 31 May 2013 in Sofia with the support of the Bulgarian Ministry of Environment and Water.

Due to its strategic location Bulgaria provides direct access to the key markets of South-East Europe. In the last few years the ecology has became a very priority sector in the country, which outlines good investment opportunities.

According to the event Organizer Via Expo, ‘Save the Planet’ is an ideal platform for the presentation of the most modern solutions and products at the Regional market.

It will be a meeting point between key players and figures from state administration, waste management, green energy and building sectors as well as specialists from other industries with high polluting impact.

A new highlight in the 2013 edition of ‘Save the Planet’ is the Hungarian National Participation, organized by the Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency. The Austrian know-how will be displayed again at the enlarged Austrian Pavilion for 4th consecutive year.

Keynote speakers from the European Federation of Waste Management and Environmental Services, Confederation of European Waste-to-Energy Plants, Association for Waste Treatment and Recycling Technology within VDMA, etc. will take part in the parallel comprehensive Conference program. They will stress mainly on the best sustainable practices for public private partnerships, economic stimulus and waste prevention, which can be successfully implemented in the Region of South-East Europe.

An Italian Workshop will be devoted to the Italian experience in the field of waste management.

The concurrent holding of ‘Save the Planet’ with the Congress and Exhibition on Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Smart Buildings, the strong international presence and the synergy of the discussed topics make the Eco Forum a very successful business mixture.
