Leading environmental firm, SLR Consulting (UK) is highlighting its extensive capabilities and expertise in the waste sector at this year’s RWM/CIWM exhibition (NEC Birmingham 10-12 September 2013).

The company is exhibiting on stand 20B19 and for the second year in a row is a partner in the RWM/CIWM Communications Hub.

The Communications Hub will be offering a detailed look at ‘positive communications’ with three days of engaging and thought-provoking sessions examining good news stories and innovative practices within the industry.

Each day follows a specific theme, kicking off with ‘Leadership’ and then followed respectively by ‘Investment’ and ‘Communities’. With everything from Dragon’s Den style pitches to in-depth panel debates, the Communications Hub will host policy makers, key sector speakers and industry leaders to deliver a dynamic and progressive programme.

“The UK waste sector is extremely dynamic at present as it adapts to the potential new technologies and new ways of financing investment,” said SLR Director Alban Forster.

“This exhibition is a great opportunity for SLR to showcase our work on waste and energy projects in the UK and around the world. Our presence on the Communications Hub at the event also reflects how SLR supports our clients with effective stakeholder engagement on a range of infrastructure development, policy interpretation and localism issues.”
