Duo Strengthen Team as Business Grows

Venue, event and corporate cleaning specialist Ryans Cleaning (UK) has made two senior appointments as it grows its offer across the UK and Ireland.

Elaine Ryan is appointed general manager for Ireland, while Sinead Cleary is promoted to project manager for the UK and Ireland.

In her new role, Elaine will oversee all operations and administration functions in terms of quality and best industry standards including the management of up to 200 staff at peak times.

Sinead will head up a highly experienced operational team on the ground as they continue to deliver the most efficient venue and event cleaning services.

Both appointments are designed to continuously improve the service and value to customers as Ryans Cleaning expands its operation, including the opening of new offices in Manchester, Birmingham and Dublin. This is in line with ISO standards 9001, 14001 and OHSAS18001, and the company is currently working towards achieving ISO 2012.

Ryans Cleaning has provided services to the London Olympics including BT London Live, the Queen’s Jubilee in Hyde Park, O2 Dublin and the British Formula 1 Grand Prix at Silverstone. Other venues and events have included the V-festival at Weston Park, Staffordshire, Download Festival at Donington Park and regular major events at Hyde Park, London.

With a turnover in excess of £5 million, Ryans Cleaning employs more than 70 people full-time and 1,000-plus part-time/seasonal staff serving the requirements of fixed venues, international events, trade shows and exhibitions as well as commercial, office and industrial premises in the UK and Ireland.
