2012 Show Confirms Exhibitors to Offer a Range of Eco Solutions

Eco Expo Asia, jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, have confirmed there will be exhibitors from a wide range of sectors offering eco solutions. Some of the backgrounds include education, finance, government, infrastructure development and manufacturing. The exhibition will run from the 27th to the 30th of October in Hong Kong.

Exhibitors for the show’s 7th edition include ASB Biodiesel (Hong Kong), Bank of China (Hong Kong), British Standard Institute, Canon, Hongkong Electric, Keppel Integrated Engineering Limited, Lutron, the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong, the Science and Technology Park Corporations, SITA Waste Service Limited and Veolia Environmental Services. Coming from various industry sectors, these exhibitors see the importance their roles play to green development. And for them, Eco Expo Asia serves as the premier venue to meet, look for partners and exchange ideas with their peers.

Business Director of SITA Mr KK Chan said, “Hong Kong is facing imminent waste problems yet to be decided the best ways forward. SITA believes the shifting to a circular economy that waste must be properly collected, sorted and recycled, and may then be processed into new materials or energy. With a bigger presence at the Hong Kong Eco Expo Asia this year, we hope to share with the industry players and the public some professional and innovative waste treatment solutions in addressing the pressing concerns of Hong Kong and the Greater China.”

Mr Billy Lee, Vice President of Global Energy Resource from the US remarked: “It is our third year returning to the fair. We keep coming back because Eco Expo Asia is one of the largest green expo in Asia and offers some of the best quality visitors for green technology fairs in Asia.
