AkzoNobel Industrial Chemicals (The Netherlands), producer of among others chlor-alkali products and derivatives like monochloroacetic acid (MCA), metal salts and dimethylether, has completed all REACH registrations well in advance of the 30 November 2010 deadline. This guarantees the continued supply of all products to our customers.

AkzoNobel Industrial Chemicals started working on meeting its obligations under REACH four years ago. The first milestone was reached in 2008 by submitting pre-registrations to the European CHemicals Agency (ECHA). At the same time, the technical REACH dossiers were initiated. Now the registrations have been finalized with the submission of all dossiers to ECHA and the assignment by ECHA of the official registration numbers.

The completion of the registrations is the impressive result of a joint effort of AkzoNobel Industrial Chemicals and the REACH consortia in which it participates. Customers will be kept informed on the up-to-date information of Industrial Chemicals’ products via extended Safety Data Sheets (e-SDS).
