Waste management
Landia has secured significant new contracts to supply its reliable pumps and mixers to two major renewable energy facilities in Estonia, further strengthening the company's presence in the biogas and biomethane markets.
At a 0.7MW biogas and cogeneration facility, Landia will provide 11 of its 11kW mixers for use in both the primary and post-digestion tanks. The plant processes wet manure and food waste as its main feedstock.
In a separate project focused on the production of sustainable biomethane from biomass containing animal by-products, six Landia Chopper Pumps have been chosen to handle critical particle size reduction. Additionally, two Landia mixers will support the plant's essential blending operations.
Thorkild Maagaard, Global Sales Director at Landia, stated:
“These new installations in Estonia demonstrate the exceptional performance and long-term value our equipment offers for complex renewable energy processes.
Our GasMix digester mixing technology also continues to see strong demand globally—across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.”
