From 24 – 26 September 2008, the first edition of ExpoRecicla, International Exhibition for Industrial Recovery and Recycling, Waste Management and Waste-to-Value Systems will be held at the Saragossa Expo Centre. ExpoRecicla is being billed as a unique chance to bring together professionals from the recycling sector in a specialised and specifically-targeted technical exhibition.

This new trade fair is clearly different from other events that provide a more general focus on the subject, without considering the phases of the recycling process.

ExpoRecycla is being held simultaneously with PowerExpo+2008, the International Trade Fair for Efficient and Sustainable Energy, the EcoBuilding, the International Trade Fair and Conference on

Bio-Climatic Architecture, Sustainable Construction, and Energy Efficiency in Building Construction, allowing the events, which are all firmly centred around the theme of sustainability, to compliment

each other.

ExpoRecicla has been organised to address the recycling sector`s need for a platform from which to bring ideas together. The expo is based on the EC Directives and national and regional regulations, care for the environment, technological innovation in waste processing, and the economic aspects of waste recovery.
