Leading environmental consultancy ADAS is continuing its expansion plans and development of its services by opening its first dedicated Irish office in Dublin.

Established for more than 37 years, ADAS is one of the largest environmental consultancies in the United Kingdom and a leading provider of environmental solutions, rural development services and policy advice.

ADAS now aims to expand its client base across four key markets – waste, water, land and ecology. It will also look to recruit further consultants to work on dedicated projects.

Mike Bailey, ADAS Ireland manager, said: “Many of the problems currently being faced by industries in the private and public sector in Ireland, such cryptosporidium in water, have already been addressed by ADAS in England, Scotland and Wales using our agricultural expertise. There is a clear demand for environmental consultancy services and we are looking forward to sharing our expertise with businesses and local authorities across Ireland.

“Since our opening we have already secured a key contract with Greenstar, a leading provider of environmental, waste management and recycling solutions. The contract is a great first step and we hope to build on this as we look to the future.”
