Grontmij (The Netherlands) sold its 60% interest in wWinn BV, the holding company of Integrated Mechanization Solutions BV (IMS), to the management of IMS.
IMS employs around 50 people. In 2006 it generated a total revenue of around EUR 9,2 million as included in the Grontmij figures of 2006. IMS delivers worldwide production and test equipment to large manufacturing companies like Sensata Technologies, Texas Instruments, Philips DAP,
Sonion and Enrichment Technologies.
CEO Sylvo Thijsen: "This is a further step in the divestment process of our non-core activities. It enables Grontmij to further focus on its core activities in the market sectors building, transportation, environment, water, energy and industry. We wish the management and staff of IMS every success in taking the business forward."
