New application development managers complete In-situ natural resources monitoring team

Kerry Caslow and Brock Houston have joined In-Situ Inc. as application development managers specialising in surface water. The new arrivals will increase In-Situ’s capacity to support customers monitoring rivers, lakes, wetlands, and coastal applications.

Caslow has 10 years of experience as an emerging leader in the hydrology industry. One of her main roles was to help people to understand the best ways of operating their water quality equipment to attain the best achievable data quality. Caslow’s career has taken her from being part of one of the US Geological Survey’s urban hydrology teams, where she managed sampling teams to determine the effects of surface run-off on local watersheds, to her last role as an application specialist, where she was in charge of beta testing new products as well as customer training.

Brock Houston is a biologist with many years of experience in the design of custom field stations and the integration of technology that measure a plethora of parameters for environmental scientists and coastal stakeholders. Houston is passionate about protecting the world’s oceans and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of integrated systems and offering complete system solutions for his customers. He holds an Master of Science in Marine Resource Assessment from the University of South Florida’s College of Marine Science.

Caslow and Houston will team up with Adam Hobson, PG, who is In-Situ’s application development manager for groundwater. Hobson has over 20 years of experience in overcoming water and environmental issues across the globe. The addition of Caslow and Houston have created a complete team whose experience and knowledge will be of huge benefit to In-Situ’s customers and increase the company’s capability to help with monitoring projects anywhere in the world.
