New Programme to Promote Professional Development in Laboratory Sector Announced

Nov 13 2017

A UK electronic airflow control and monitor manufacturer and consultant is supporting the professional development of laboratory electrical contractors and users, with the launch of a new CPD programme.

Temperature Electronics Ltd’s (TEL) Continuing Professional Development programme helps contractors and users of laboratory fume cupboard airflow controls and monitors to select the best products and to install, operate and maintain them efficiently, while gaining CPD points.

The programme is accessible via the CPD Zone in the new Knowledge Base section of the company’s website. Participants can view the material and test their knowledge at their convenience.

The first CPD course promotes the effective installation, operation and maintenance of TEL’s SM6 Airflow Sensor, and will be followed by additional courses over coming months.

TEL’s Director, Richard Eady, said: “TEL has almost 50 years’ experience – both as a consultant as well as a manufacturer - and the new CPD programme provides a means of sharing this with our customers, supporting them in their professional development and making their jobs easier.”

Established in 1969, TEL works in partnership with fume cupboard manufacturers, contractors and users in laboratories and industrial environments worldwide. Its products enable customers to comply with health and safety legislation while delivering energy and cost savings.

The company’s full-service offer includes design consultation, product supply and installation, training and technical backup. It operates internationally via a supplier network covering Europe, the US, Africa and Asia.
