Maintenance friendly FSIP® design establishes itself in the environmental sector

May 26 2016

At IFAT 2016 in Munich NETZSCH is showing in addition to the TORNADO® rotary lobe pumps and macerators, the new NEMO® progressing cavity pump with the maintenance-friendly design FSIP®. It has been re-designed in line with the successful 'full service in place' principle of the TORNADO® rotary pump. From now on, the maintenance of the pump can be done in half of the time, the installation space is reduced and the full pumping capacity with the same pumping quality is still offered. In the environmental sector, this pump will be established due to its robustness and endurance.

The FSIP® design 'Full Service in Place' NEMO® progressing cavity pump by NETZSCH provides full access to all rotating parts. The operator of the pump can open the pump cavity on site conveniently and dismantle all rotating parts and simply install them again without having to remove the pump from the pipe assembly. The rotor-stator unit can be simply lifted out after opening the newly designed inspection cover on the pump housing. When re-assembling the components no adjustment needs to be made, as the construction of the pump housing makes each step self-explanatory. This significantly reduces the maintenance time and effort for the installer.
