Some of the UK’s largest utility companies, including Yorkshire Water Services and Severn Trent Water have teamed up with tier 1 contractors including Arup to participate in a fact finding delegation to Israel on 13 January. Israel has a well-established track record for technology innovation and strong credentials in the areas of waste water recycling and water conservation. Jon Brigg, Manager of Innovation within the Business Support Group atYorkshire Water Services said, “Yorkshire Water has a strong interest in innovation, new technology and energy efficiency solutions in the waste water sector, particularly in the context of AMP6. In this context, we are looking forward to learning about new technologies which might be applicable to our particular needs, such as Mapal Green Energy’s floating fine bubble aeration system. ”
