Grontmij Makes Two New Senior Appointments

Grontmij (The Netherlands) announce two new senior appointments to further drive the direction of the company and deliver its strategy. Arnold Drijver joins as Director of Corporate Communications and Frank Price is appointed as Director of Sustainability for the Grontmij group in what are key roles for the business going forward. Both roles report directly to Sylvo Thijsen, Grontmij CEO.

Arnold Drijver – Director of Corporate Communication

Arnold Drijver (38) joins Grontmij from Maxeda (the largest non-food retailer in the Netherlands) where he held the function of Manager of Corporate Communications. He has over 12 years of professional experience in communications gained in a variety of sectors. Arnold will oversee the strategy and direction of Grontmij’s Corporate Communications and will also coordinate this through the company’s regions and business lines.

Frank Price – Director of Sustainability

Frank Price (54), who joined Grontmij in 2005 and has worked in various senior positions since, will now work across the business to drive sustainability into the delivery of Grontmij’s project work. This will ensure the offering to clients is targeted and focussed on adding value with respect to sustainability. With the increasing demands of shareholders, legislation and clients’ expectations the need for such a role at a senior level has never been stronger.

Sylvo Thijsen, CEO Grontmij N.V. commented: ‘In appointing Arnold Drijver, we are looking to invigorate our strategic communications at a Group level.
