Flottweg (Germany) is going to show the whole range of the new C-series environmental decanter line at the IFAT exhibition in Hall A2 stand 415/516.

With the new C-series, Flottweg succeeded in reducing power consumption up to 20 – 30 % for capacities of 20 to 90 m3/h. Efficient acceleration of the product in the feed zone combined with an optimized discharge system made this significant advancement possible. Since the power requirements of sewage plants get more and more important these days, this means a huge monetary advantage.

Due to a complete revision of the bowl drive it was possible to increase the capacity of the machines by 10 – 20 %. Therefore it is now possible to use a smaller machine for the same feed rate, which ultimately results in lower investment costs and/or higher processing performance.

The new decanter line is characterized by a design which has been perfectly adapted to the environmental sector. The new decanter line sets standards concerning space requirements, operating smoothness, and operator convenience. Maintenance friendliness and reliability which are already a hallmark of all Flottweg decanters have been further optimized in the new decanter line.

Flottweg is going to show a new 3-phase decanter for the recovery of oil and water from difficult slop oils. Using the Tricanter® it is possible to carry out this kind of separation in only one step. Variations in the solids content are optimally compensated due to the automatic control system of the Tricanter®. Solids consistency remains constantly good. Variations in the oil and water content are compensated by using the patented adjustable impeller. This is a simple and secure method to achieve the required parameters in the recovered oil and in waste water.
