Charles Austen Pumps (UK) announce the launch their new range of submersible water pumps the SW series. The range compliments the popular Enviro air pump / blower and enables the user to single source both types of pumps used in domestic sewage treatment plants.

The SW range of submersible water pumps are designed for fitment inside a treatment tank. They feature the choice of stainless steel or plastic casing which is strike resistant and anti-corrosive even when used in salt water. Performance ranges from 2500 l/hr up to 20,000 l/hr and for applications that require the pump to start and stop automatically optional float switches are available. High quality resin on the windings ensures long life and that the unit is safe from electricity leakage. Application ideas include sewage aeration, sump emptying, water drainage, rain water harvesting and flood prevention.

In addition to submersible pumps sewage treatment systems often use blowers to aerate diffusers within the tank. The Enviro series is proven in this application and aerates diffusers up to 1m in length and down to a depth of 4m. The Enviro series can be easily retro-fitted to current tank installations or cesspit conversions and as the pump is situated outside the tank servicing is quick and simple. A comprehensive range of models is available offering flow rates in steps from 30 l/min to 250 l/min with an exceptionally long service life and 18 months warranty. Frost and rain proof the Enviro proves ideal for aeration of wastewater, air sampling, aquarium oxygenation and fish transportation.
